What You Must Learn About EB1 Immigrant Visas

You must have heard of the term EB-1 immigrant visas, but what does that really refer to? The EB – 1 visa refers to an immigrant visa that is employment based. When it comes to granting EB-1 visas to foreigners, individuals who have some extraordinary ability or individuals like researchers, professors, managers or executives in multinational companies are given the first preference by the government. As far as the EB – 1 visa are concerned, there are different categories of these types of visas. The categories are:
EB – 1 (A):
To be able to qualify for the EB-1 (A) visa, you will have to prove to have extraordinary ability in education, arts, science, athletics or business. Those with these extraordinary abilities are eligible for this type of visa. You will have to prove your excellence and achievements with extensive documentation. You do not need a job offer from the United States.
EB – 1 (B):
The EB – 1 (B) visa is for the individuals who have excellence in the fields of research or individuals who are outstanding professors. The individual must have at least three years of teaching experience and the researchers must have three years’ experience in the research field. They must come to the United States with the objective of researching or getting a tenure and teaching in the universities or colleges.
